IGART International Art Projects Competition
(Istanbul Airport M1 Project Area)

The idea of the design is that Istanbul Airport, at the center of travel routes, opens its doors to the world as the magical starting point where the heart of the past and the future beats. Bosphorus, one of the unique natural beauties that make up the identity of Istanbul, tulips as cultural symbols, and the heart rhythm as a reflection of the vitality of the city express itself at first glance. While people are guided by reference to the circulation axes in the design, the artistic fluid design in the marbling boat will be met with the surface design that everyone will understand from their own perspective. In the project, light and environmentally friendly materials were used that are resistant to external weather conditions, do not require constant maintenance, and enable effective use of daylight. With its inviting and guiding structure, the viaduct will provide a spacious welcome to the passengers.
